HI, 2013

Uh, I don't know why I do this.  I write on my blog for a week or two and then get side tracked.  I love reading other peoples blogs and then get inspiration.  I don't know if i'd ever give others inspiration, but i'd sure like to try.  I don't do resolutions because well who ever really accomplishes them all by the end of the year.  I just live off of hope and faith.  I hope i'll be able to do all the things I want to do for my family and I have faith that I will follow through.

So, let's hope to getting this darn blog rolling and keep rolling.  Well, this year I decided I was finally fed up with feeling blah when looking in the mirror.  So this year is totally devoted to my family and my health.  As a family we have always tried to be more organic, and natural.  We finally dove in and bought a juicer.  It is far from a solution, but definitely a step in the right direction.  I'll write all about the juicer we bought in another blog.

We've been juicing for about  a month now.  It has done wonders for my husband.  We came back from our cruise and we had both gained a good amount of weight.  After a week of juicing he actually lost all the weight.  I am still working on the weight and pooch, but still happy with what juicing has done so far.  Our skin looks so much healthier, we seem happier, and we definitely have more energy.

Because the kids found a way to kill all our worms in the compost and we just haven't gotten around to getting more worms, we have been throwing away the pulp.  I looked on you tube (my favorite go to after pintrest) and a lady shows her recipe to make crackers with the pulp.  I decided to try my hand at making some and i'm crossing my fingers they come out yummy.  The next post i'll have a post of the before and after pictures of the crackers as well as how they tasted.
